I use 12/53 on two of them and 13/53 on the other.

10/53 will be useless to ride with in first gear on a TY250 (as a solo) and I would like to know if the chain is clear of the sprocket retaining nut with a 10T 428 sprocket. Smallest I have seen on a Yamaha is 11T and the chain was pretty close to the points on the nut hex.
relax, nothing is under control

I had 12/50 on my TY250 when I bought it and it was just a little quick in the tight stuff for me. Managed to get an 11 on the front today and I think it is perfect feels more like my 175 in tight turns. Before you could feel the surge of power stroke now everything is smooth

hi Darren,
i was having similar issues with my ty too. i run a 12/52. have learned better clutch control now. however, would like to know where you are getting a 11t made up and how it goes.
