The plot get thicker
So can you Rego a ty175c or is that later than ADR? or does it have to be a ty175jc?
I just purchased a ty175jc basket case for one reason being the compliance plate(The other was gear box parts) And was thinking of one day swaping all the parts off my 175c onto the jc just to rego it!
But if the KT could do the job the jc will be up for sale.

Re: KT 250 rego ?
1976 (TY175C) is a grey area for ADR plates and rego. There were plenty of 1976 model dirt bikes and even 1977 and 1978 model dirt bikes registered (from new) without ADR plates, but ADR plates first appeared on road bikes and cars in 1976.
I suspect the cutoff date nowadays will be January 1976 so if you can convince the Transport Dept that your KT is a 1975 model, you should not need an ADR plate. You may still need a roadworthy inspection done by a bike shop though once you have got everything working.
