Some good stuff on here guys. Skorps, your bikes are beautiful mate. You have done an awesome job on them. I'm new to the trials game, so new I'm almost shiney!! Big call for a 48yo!!


Anyways, I picked up this A2 on Monday night. Once I have a few other projects out of the way i will get stuck in. The plan is a bike like your lounge-room special Skorps. If its half as good I will be over the moon.

Hey Skorps mate,
where did you find your tank decals. Did you buy them or have them cut?
Also what paint code/color code did you use on the tank in the pic.
The original Pearl lime Kawasaki color is very close to the metalic lime Mazda have on some of their cars.

Kawasaki Australia have no decals left according to the local K dealer.

Paint was colour matched by PaintDoctor in Maryborough when he painted it for me. I have original Metallic green sidecovers he copied from.

There is no equivalent in any paint code as far as I know, and I have done copious research on this.

Yes mate. I have been looking for one for a couple of months but have a only seen a couple of good bikes and the cheapest went for around $2300. I had actually given up on getting a KT. I bought a couple of other bikes which I was after too and put the KT into the too hard basket!!
Then last Monday this one popped up. I was just checking ebay every so often, it listed at at 1020, I looked at it, thought not this time so I went to bed, couldn't sleep, got up to have another look at about 1140 and "Bought it now" $1550.
I'm very happy with that because its virtually 100% complete and most of its in very sound nick so it will restore very nicely and through the valuable info I have already picked up from the guys on here a lot of the legwork has already been done.

Have to agree about the info here and the leg work that's already been done by others, a BIG help.

Sorry to tell you JB, but I am still in Karratha at the moment - won't be home for R&R until the week before the invitational trial. In the meantime, just doing a spot of fishing to pass the Sundays. Didn't get any pictures of what I caught (a boot and a nasty rash), but this is what my mate Simon caught when we were out last Sunday!



I know I know, its a tough life, but it's how I make my money to spend on bikes.
