I popped a mirror on the bike after that photo. Yep. You still need mirrors.
Hee hee hee I attached a spare side cover to the handle bars and that did the trick.

Well done on getting it rego'd, Westy. =D> 8)

Sounds like you found the elusive water injection sweet spot. You just need to fit a pressurised water tank, nozzle and "turbo boost" button for that bit of extra go when you need it, eg. when parking attendants are chasing you.

I couldn't help noticing that it looks like you'd chained the bike up to a concrete column. Did you think somebody might have wanted to steal the column? And did you really think chaining it to the bike would stop them?

Westy,

You might be able to make that round trip without running out of fuel if you cut down on the size of that lock/cable just a little.

Congratulations on getting the RL past rego, I had a 1973 model sherpa T 250 and a TY 175 with rego for a number of years, sold them for more competive twinshocks and a modern bike.

Try ridding at the local skate park when no one is around, it's a blast.

A skate park? Are you allowed? I suppose if there isn't a sign that states "SUPER COOL TRIALS BIKES PROHIBITED" then I am home free.

That is an unreal idea.

Mind you, about the uni parking. The uni wanted me to make their column secure... not. Of course the chain will stop them. I suppose if you rode a TY or something like that... or European bikes (are they made from wood?).... then you wouldn't understand. I mean, why would you bother chaining it up?

Westy, well done! Now for my turn to get my DT175 on the road soon. I like the idea of the water injection....might come in handy.
