Piston dimensions Honda

Post by LOZZA »

Can anyone help with the piston dimensions for a 1985 TLR250F ?
I need the measurements of the -: Diameter
Piston pin diameter
Piston pin center to crown
Piston pin to skirt
Overhaul length

So I can hopefully get one made to suit this modle and finish the restoration

Gday, cant help with dimensions, but these guys have RTL ones which (apparently) are the same as TLR. I know nothing about this myself...

If you can find an actual part number for piston or ring set I may be able to cross-reference them with other Honda models.

Cheers,

Thanks for the help.I have been able to get Piston rings 131A1-KR9-003 and Pin 13101-KR9-000 But no luck with the piston 13101-KR9-003.
So any reference you can supply would be greatly appreciated. :VIC:

Lozza, No idea if this will help you but I think there was a TLR250 barrel and piston for sale on eBay a few months ago located somewhere in northern NSW. I remember it because it was such a rare thing to see advertised.

Gday Lozza, no go with my crossreference. It looked at me blankly...There isnt any KR9 parts in there, which means its pretty rare. Have you tried David Silver spares in the UK? They are pretty good, I have had them supply stuff for all sorts of weird bikes over the last couple of years. Might be worth an email. Or maybe Econohonda (?) in New Zealand.

Try these guys, they do a lot of Honda stuff, read half way down the page to where they talk about special piston orders.
