Please be patient with me,i'm new to this site and not very handy with a computer. The question i have for you all is,how the hell do i post/attach a picture of my bike to the ad i posted in classifieds earlier today. Do i need to use something like photobucket or can i just pull them straight from my home computer??

there is 2 ways you can do it, you can use a site like photobucket, upload it then copy the link to a post on here. (like below photo)
OR
you can go to "upload attachment" which is under the box you type in, but these files must be smaller than 256 KB
Then it will show up on the bottom of you post, ill attach a picture to show you how that looks, hope that helps.
