Helmets

Post by BJ »

Hi All

Can someone please tell me if the NZI Trivet indoor helmet is legal under MA rules for our outdoor trials events? The Trivet is different to other indoor helmets as it has large lattice type vents on the sides and top of the shell.

Hi BJ,

I wouldn’t mind knowing the answer to this question too. There must be nothing better than breeze in your hat after a hard days riding

I notice that YesMoto are selling these helmets

Might be worth a quick call to Andy.

Best of boulders.

They have European approval which is approved by the FIM and in turn MA.

Just to confirm,
My trivent has a little E9 tag on it just like the ordinary NZI helmets, which is good enough for the FIM as PA says, but don't go buying one 'cos I like mine being the only one around.
(takes the focus off my riding...)
