09 Beta 125 Overheating

Hi Folks
My sons Beta 125 overheated and the hoses bulged and blown head gasket. Found the impellor fell off the water pump. Not sure if this is a common problem but it is easy to check. Those with 09 125 should drain the coolant and take out 3 screws on the water pump cover and check the longnitudal slop in the shaft. The pin will drop out and cause damage if the slop is to much. I installed a 1.5mm spacer on the shaft to stop it happening again ( gear side) Good thing the side cover and water pump gaskets and reusable.
