TY skid plates

Hi Gents,

Been watching this forum for months & tho't it was time I joined.

I'm new to trials (in part due to the ever-helpful & enthusisatic David Lahey -thanks Dave) - but not to dirt bikes.

David recently let me sample most of his garage to let me get some idea of what I felt most comfortable on. I'd only ever ridden a couple of 325 Sherpa's (one near brand new & delightful, the other poorly set-up), a very ratty TY175 & a delightful TLR250 over the 38yrs before that - all very briefly.

Anyway, just recently I swapped a VMX bike for a couple of TYs - a 250C runner & a 175C non-runner.

Surprise, surprise (!), both are missing the skid-plates. Anybody out there got a spare for either 175 or 250 that they'd part with?

Hi John,

TY 250C you say, not as common as A and B models, in my opinion they finally got the swingarm right by then. Plus the seat arrangement is a lot neater. Don`t have any spare bashplates for a 250, but I do have spare 175 ones and I have fabricated some for 250`s.
