Clearly the older and less able riders who feel the severity of your events is such, that they need to ride modern bikes maybe arent completely happy? Maybe recognising the fact that there is a very wide variety of abilities at most classic events, and introducing a four route format, would be more helpful than asking me about when I last marked out a trial? (as I generally work 6-7 days a week, this would be very difficult!).

You are clearly unable to answer a simple question, hiding behind "working 6-7 days a week." What do you think the rest of us do ? Our club, like all the rest have an elected commitee who meet twice a month. My phone number and e-mail address are in our club magazine and on our website. My contact details are also published in TMX well before each event.
Any club members wanting change are most welcome to contact me or other club members, the fact that they dont means we can only assume they are happy - its not like there are no other trials to ride - in fact our biggest problem is sorting out dates so they dont clash.

Its a real shame that no one in the UK seems to want to take any notice of the fact that TS/P65 trials in the rest of Europe is so much more popular than it is here in UK!

Riding older bikes is all about having fun, and to be honest if sections are far too easy its not much fun, and if older less able riders have to go modern to cope with the going, its obviously not much fun for them either!

I have a good suggestion for you.If you are so busy why dont you employ someone - the govt keeps on about creating jobs.
This would release you to start your own trials club - its not hard to do,just apply to the AMCA.You can then find land too mark out trials just how you want them.
If what you say is true you will soon be overloaded with entries and making money - Give it a go,prove your point and show us the way to go.

Thanks Greg - I did get the answer, apparently internal gearing is the same for the TLR and RTL.

FM350 and John V8 have made numerous beneficial posts in the past, which have been appreciated.

The present conversation is not relevant to the topic, nor is it beneficial to the Australian Trials community.

Stick to the topic gentleman, promote the positives of the sport and encourage participation.

If you want to have a go at each other do it via private message or email.

Sorry shouldnt have mentioned problems related to UK events here! I do feel very strongly that there is a need to make the sport more accessible to less able riders though, and the Euro 4 route format seems to be a good way to help with that. Last post on this subject................
