Bugger, busted. Thanks David. :D
I've had enough of trying to ride with what I have on my TY and had a chat with Malcolm Chapman last weekend. I'll weld some aftermarket pegs now I'm riding in comps again. It should be more comfortable to ride as well. The narrow pegs are not good anymore.

Sorry to any interested parties that where following my thread, i'm sure you haven't been able to sleep without knowing what JAFTY meant (although one person pretty much nailed it)..... Anyway, I had a personal conflict and out of spite (cut off your nose despite your face kind of thing) JAFTY got stored in a container for a few years. She is out again! Another quick freshen up..... this one has been going for only 4 months so far..... (me going mad(er))

After dusting off, re-painting some parts (found out my sandblaster used sand from the beach the hard way), work to fix some excess metal removal (new sandblaster uses rock), a new Barnett clutch (then modified clutch push rod), ASV levers, new wheels, new coil, plug, new clutch cable (that didn't work), modified new clutch cable (machining new cable ends to suit new levers/cable), new brake shoes (that didn't work), re-lined older brake shoes (that got lost and are still being sorted!) I tried out how she went. Terrible! Can someone tell me why I didn't just buy a new mono years ago??

Anyway, I have JAFTY Mk II (pics to come).

Prob too late but stu, my pegs are from the wreckers, a YZ 125 late model. I chose that because they have an alloy frame and just bolt onto the side. So I just welded the footpeg pivot to the TY. The CR's frame is at an angle (too much of a mod), so check before you buy.

Can someone tell me the timing specs for said TY (250b). I have specs ranging from 1.6mm to 3.1mm BTDC and 12 to 15 thou gap. I think that is all she needs  Otherwise, anyone want a praticly new TY, just needs sorting. I'm buying an Ossa or similar!

Cheers.
