18 this is a reproduction of the right tail light except for the real one has a red side reflector. Yellow is a US thing it thinks.
18 tail light lens (Small).JPG

18.1 I have a original lens but it doesn’t quite fit the reproduction base plate. Any one with a original base plate I would be interested. Plus are these round reflectors on each side for our bike

22 I’m using the 206 shell wired to suit our wiring loom requirements as I think it looks better. (not original I know)

23 I believe these black plastic cases are the right ones for us. Don’t look as good though
24 when I put this motor back together I think I put the kick starter starting point in the wrong position. It sits at the top like normal but does not get compression till there.
25 what type of loom holder goes there
26 what type of cable holder holds the clutch cable there? Metal with plastic sleave, black plastic or clear plastic
27 battery box is new thanks to Greg. Are these the right blot and washers holding it on?
28 should I find a smaller top breather tube and run it through the casted hole on the carby body

Any help is good help in getting this bike back to original.
Thank you
Eric

14 don't the handlebar electric cables run through the middle of the bars?
28 yes you could but it is a pain when you want to take the float bowl off
original handlebar grips are available from Yamaha

Thanks David
13 Wow I hunted up and down the wreckers some years ago and decided they looked right. Now I have no idea what one should look like. I will have to see if you can get them new but original.
14 no way are the left ones fitting inside the handle bars. I will check out the right side thanks
Handle bar grips? I thought they were original? I will have to chase them up aswell.
Thanks so far

I'm only going by memory for the plug cap and memory is saying that there is no screw clamp on the original cap. Memory is also saying that the JC cap is big, black and bulbous. Another thing to check out on my sister's bike
