Hi CWC,
I have a spare pair of RL250 fork springs that I would sell reasonable plus shipping from South Dakota. Send me a personal message or post here if interested. I used to ride UMTA.

I agree that stock springs are much too soft. I add 12 PSI of air via a regulator to good effect along with 250cc oil. I off centered the air valves in the fork caps to allow air chuck/handle bar clearance.

The spring measures 18-1/2 inches plus 3-1/8 inch spacer plus a flat washer long by 26.5 MM outside diameter with 3.5 MM wire diameter. The coils are wound much closer together on one end.

I found a Clymers Suzuki manual that covers RL250 and others. Think I got it through "denniskirk.com" in Rush City, Minnesota.
Don't let competition get in the way of having fun.

Easily available springs intended for Bultaco forks seem to fit and work fine on most TS bikes with 35mm forks fitted.
