Keychange, I like the idea of moving the frame while applying a bit of heat in the approiate place/places.

Well all back together and I have to say I can't detect any alignment problems she feels absolutely as good she looks.

great work keychange, can I borrow it, I need to send it to china for few weeks 8-[ . What did you use for the tank/cover to get it that good? 8)as it looks exactly original and not too good .

The tank body is an original - although not the original (that is a Mountaineer body and stored in my shed) I live near Dorrigo - which is a small town of roughly 1100 people and a guy had this tank and seat - brand new sitting in his shed - no other Montesa parts just these. I gave him $100 and he was happy and I am delighted ;)
