Hi all, just to let you know that trials is growing in Charters Towers over the last 18 months. Local riders have been riding the 6 different locations in the "Towers" and drive to Townsville at times to ride with the guys down there. The Townsville riders have visited 3 of our trials sites for fun rides, and have set up two competition events here to challenge us all. It's been a long time since observed trials was part of the Charters Towers scene.
On the 21st October 2012 the "Towers" riders are setting and running their own trial, a one day event of 8 sections 3 laps. this at a great site we call the "Rocks", and it is well named. Anybody who is in the neighborhood is welcome to join in and can call Taffy on 0418778943 for more details. The Townsville guys will be there.
