Don't know of anyone doing aftermarket covers for TY175. I think someone in France or Belgium is making composite material covers for TY250 but not seen them for TY175. Those standard covers can usually be welded up. I can recommend someone who welded one of mine up very nicely. I have a couple I would sell. How good a cover do you want?
Kickstart levers can be bought from Yamaha shops

Thanks David,
I can weld it up no probs but I don't have the missing rear section.
I am wanting a very good one as I have done to much now to not finish it off nicely.
What would you be wanting ? $
Is the kick starter non gen and what models is it listed suit or is it ty only , do you know the supplier / importer as I have a few contacts.
Thanks
Steven.

The kickstart is a Yamaha part and is unique to the TY175. They are available at Yamaha dealers and from TY parts specialist John Cane in the UK. From Yamaha you can buy the individual components or the complete assembly. From memory the complete assembly is about $160 from John Cane.
I've heard some people fit an RD Yamaha (1970s twin cylinder two stroke road bike) kickstart lever but I don't know which RD model it is.
I will have a look at the covers and do photos and post them up with prices.

Here are my two spare covers. I bought both on eBay years ago. The polished one has scratches and minor rock damage that have not polished out and a couple of marks at the front that look like where road stones have hit. The impact marks have been polished over, but are still visible if you look closely. It has been damaged at the bottom where the "MADE IN JAPAN" is, and has been tidied up by up by a previous owner. The polishing is also by a previous owner.
The other one is complete but has two areas that have been gouged. One is damage from the shift lever and another area at the front that looks like a scrape against a rock. The finish looks a bit odd on this one because at some stage it has been painted silver and this paint is coming off. It also has a mark inside where the flywheel has rubbed against it.
$120 plus postage for either one
