Bultaco M10 Sherpa T - both fork types side by side

Post by David Lahey »

A while back there was some discussion about what size forks came on M10 Bultacos. I've just found a photo that shows two M10 Bultacos, one with the early skinny forks (of which few were made) and an M10 with 35mm forks. The photo is from http://www.retrotrials.com/page-2---eur ... ycles.html (which is worth having a look at)

I think the skinny forks were the ones which most of the Lobito`s used David. Maybe Betor was late in getting the forks to Bultaco so they had to use what they had in shop. They are Spanish so who knows. Graham.

According to the bible "Historia De La Sherpa T" the forks are changed from engine number 1000026 onwards and since there were only 1275 made that makes the first bike a very early example.
The photos show them to have black triple clamps as well as a different tank [built 12th 1964 to 4th 1967]
