Wish I had a dangley bit that could hang far enough to get caught in the spokes.

OK here is a photo of one of the "socks stay up" legends in our local trials club. His secret is to wear full set of motorbike tights, and then clamp the socks in place with three-strap off-road bicycle racing shin and knee protectors!
I wasn't quick enough to get a photo of the other sock legend before he got his pants on

'cause it's going to become "untucked in" anyway so why spend the time and effort tucking it in?

I have all that fancy new gear but I wear my jersey un-tucked due to personal preference and always wearing shirts un-tucked when I was younger. Plus I find tucking a shirt in uncomfortable.

Hi Everyone,

David, those motorcycle tights look like the go, do they keep you cool in sunny Queensland? Does anyone else ride trials in them? I have to admit that I never take notice of what people wear!

Is it only me struggling to keep my socks from bunching up? Probably need to pull my socks up, but every hour or so is a bit much.

Team Hardwood are about to try wooden socks, not sure if they will be any better or how they work, maybe the splinters will dig in and keep them in place? Not exactly a giant leap, going from woollen to wooden, but I will try anything at least once.

Hey Greg

The wooden socks are the go. I have them in brilliant orange, sky blue and lairy green, but they must have been short on blood red at the time.

Word of warning though ........... they take forever to dry ........... so bear that in mind when exploring the depth of creekbeds.

If your riding skills are so bad that people are looking at weather or not your shirt is tucked in then you better sell your bike and start a new hobby.

Who really cares
