Central Queensland Twinshock and Classic Challenge

Post by David Lahey »

Yet another event has been created for people who love riding Twinshock and Classic Trials bikes.
The Central Queensland Trials Club is running a trial on 8 September 2013 especially for Twinshock and Classic trials riders.
After being suitably impressed by events such as those run by the Denman MCC, and the Western Districts Twinshock and Classic Masters at Conondale, the CQTC is hosting the CQ Twinshock and Classic Champs at Tony Bax's property at Lowmead (just north of Bundaberg)
Tony Bax bought the property a few years ago because it has terrific terrain for trials riding, and is planning to make this event an annual treat for people who love riding their old trials bikes. Section severity will be managed to provide everyone with a relaxed and enjoyable ride.
While the main idea is to encourage and cater for the riders of old bikes, modern bikes will also be allowed to ride the event.

Nice poster by Drew Wickerson for the upcoming Twinshock and Classic event at Tony Bax's place. It's a campover and today I heard there are lines planned for Classic Heavyweight, Classic Lightweight, Twinshock (Clubman line) and Twinshock (C Grade line)

and as can be seen in the photo, Cedric van Heerden is not using his walking stick, in fact is not too far off riding a trials bike again :D
