Registering ty
Hi guys, just after a little info am looking into registering a ty 250 and was wondering what's required in nsw bike has lights and speedo does it need blinkers and what numbers required ie chassi or is there a supposed to be a compliance plate? Bike was registered many years ago in s.a apparently anyone know if its much drama or not ,thanks

I thought they were before compliance so they didn't need them but some one here will know for sure

76 model guessing just a blue slip saying everything works?

ADR plates on bikes started in 1976 and if your TY250 twinshock doesn't have one, that would not be surprising because none of the TY250 twinshocks had ADR plates fitted from new.
There is one TY175 model came with an ADR plate, and one TY250 mono model came with an ADR plate.
If you can convince the registration place that your bike is a pre-76 model, they won't be looking for an ADR plate when you go to get it processed
Maybe its different in NSW but last time I was in a Qld rego office, I just picked up a form that had a list of the things a pre-76 bike needs to get road registered, and from memory it was a pretty basic list.
