TY350 Spares

Post by Fish »

Anyone know of any sources of spares for a TY ?

One item I'm stuck on is a pilot jet for a 1985 TY350
According to the owners manual - the Carb is a Teikei brand, Y26P type which I guess means it's a 26mm size ? Anyway, the pilot jet is a #37 which apparently indicates its size. The part no is 43F1434268

Any ideas gratefully welcomed.
Thanks

I have successfully bought Teikei carby parts for my TY250A from the local Yamaha dealer as a genuine Yamaha part. I've never seen them available from anywhere else.

Thanks, yes I finally got one through the dealer. It took weeks due to some sort of delay from Japan !
I've searched far and wide on the net while I was waiting, about the only place I found seems to be this UK ebayer:

Dear Fish
That ebay store is run by John Cane in the UK. John can be very helpful if you need info about parts for old TYs.
