Mmmm, saw a TY250 the other day, all complete, keen seller... (he has a few LARGE barns FULL of ol' bikes that he needs to shift). (No, not telling!)
I couldn't get close enough to see exactly what model it was, (too many bikes to clamber over), but it was complete, not bad looking, drum brake twin shock.
Now what would something like that be worth? Assuming it was close to a runner... with compression.. gears... no real damage etc.
I also know of an Alpina in Perth, unused for 3 decades or so.

Re: TY250
I dont know if its any help to you,but here in the UK I think something like that would fetch £5-800 on Ebay. I bought a non runner off Ebay here about 5 years ago for £180.It was being sold by a breaker who dealt mainly in more modern road bikes, had they spent 20 mins on it they could have sold it as a runner for alot more...
Be a nice bike if you can get it for a price you are happy to pay.
