Sherco Shock Spring

Post by JJW »

Hi all,

Recently I purchased a 2012 Sherco 2.9.

I am 104kg + gear (I wear a lot coz I crash a lot!) and the spring in the bike is too soft.

In fact, it is sitting lower than my friends trials bikes after observing the ride height with mates testing out the new rig.

One mate mentioned that it turns like a chopper so not sure if the previous owner was a lightweight.

I haven't bothered checking yet what weight spring is in situ, however I am looking for a source of springs for this shock. The usual checks of fleabay etc have come up empty.

Any advice on sourcing a suitable spring?

Check out http://www.splatshop.co.uk/olle-rear-shock-springs.html

3 different springs to suit various rider weights.
Don at Moto Central can probably supply them.
