Where to buy a bike in Sydney?

Post by jml »

Hey guys,

I'm not sure if I'm missing something here, but finding a local store in Sydney who sells trials bikes seems even more scarce than places who sell their motorised brethren. I've just started to ride Moto Trials but would like to also get a bike, I cannot get out on the moto as much as I want due to my location and my current work circumstances, plus there are some things I'd prefer to learn on the pushie first. Does anyone know of any reputable stores who sell mod20's in Sydney or surrounding suburbs?

P.s. The only website so far that I've found is www.expressivebikes.com and I cannot find a single source of second hand bikes.

Thanks! 8-[

Hi JML
I was at Pacific Park near Windsor a couple of weeks ago & there is a shop there that had some Trials Pushies called The Bike Shak.
their number is 0410331189 0416242951 or you can find them on facebook.
Otherwise we have a shop in Canberra MotoCentral, in Mitchell & we stock ECHO, ZOO & CZAR Trials pushies.
our number: 02-62480229

Tim@ expressive bikes
Owen @ bike trials direct

Both guys are stand up guys, they will go above and beyond to help you out with getting a bike.
Because the scene is so small it's really hard to pick good second hand bikes,it's mainly hard because of the frequency they show up for sale.

You might be lucky and see some at the occasional bicycle comp or moto trial.

Forums are the best bet
Www.observedtrials.net has an Australia section. That's about the only spot that they get posted. Check gumtree or ebay aswell

Give Paul Arnott a call at the Hell Team - he has an add on this site - most of the guys in Sydney are riding bikes provided by Paul and his customer service is second to none
