Dellorto PHBG Parts

Post by Neo »

Hi All,

Can anyone help me with GGG's bike.

I've a got a problem with a leaking Carby (fuel sometimes pours out of the overflows). I’ve striped the Carb down and blown it out with compressed air twice now but still no luck. When it's leaking, a quick tap on the side will stop it and after a lot of testing I’ve conclude that it’s the Float Needle.

Only problem is I can’t find anyone that can sell me this part.

The Carb is a Dellorto PHBG - 21DS. If you know of a bike that uses the PHBG or know of a good Dellorto parts supplier please send me a reply post.

Many thanks.

It could just be that the floats are jamming inside the bulb because theyre allowed to travel too far. If you check the QLD beta site. There is an article there on how to tune a carb properly for a beta. Its the same problem, and while the carb is a bit different its a quick job and worth a shot.

Thanks KTMSprocket,

But I managed to sort a supplier of the Carbiee and parts from Pocket Bike importer a while back.

It was also interesting to compare prices of the same part from different suppliers too. ^(=)^

Best of balance.
