I happen to get this photo of Greg and Graham at the Aussie Titles this year. I think Graham is explaining the length of the stroke on his Sherpa 350 that he will ride at the Twin Shock Masters in 2 weeks!

Chippy, you are half right, we were discussing Twinshock Masters, remember this:

Greg what are you buying imitation trials bikes for? I know this post will upset heaps of people but I don`t care. Remember the old trials sayings. Out of control like a wet . And, how do you pee a rider right off. Walk past his bike at machinery and say water. He/ she will instantly have no brakes all day. See that is their reputation. Have you heard what bike won the Twinshock class up at Esk on the weekend. Yep a SherpaT! So all is right and correct in the world again. Graham.

Obviously you didn't hear me ask Graham how much water was in the Creek?

I can vouch for the Montessa not having brakes when wet !
Actually there is one like I had, for sale at a good price in the bikes for sale section right now!
Looks like a good buy maybe Graham should try a life change ?

Greg, I'm not sure what bike you are riding this year at the Twin Shock Masters, but you seem to have a fetish, even to the point of starting Magazine Articles thread with "THE BEST TWIN SHOCK TRIALS BIKE OF ALL TIME". I think that some would differ on that view, especially some Honda riders and I think you have even been seen on a few different Honda models.

On another note, I must thank Graham Weiss and Dean Trend from Express Motorcycles in Ipswich for their help on replacing crank seal on my Cota 200. When trying to tune in an OKO carby, we discovered that the mixture fluctuated without touching the carby. So a new crank seal later and running much better. I even managed to get Graham on the . I missed that photo opportunity, hey Graham!?

Also to note, there is some rain predicted for South East Queensland this week, so we may get more water in the creek at Conondale and test out some of those twin shock brakes!

I do happen to have a test article on the Montesa Cota 200 with Bev Anderson as the test rider, but having trouble copying the article..

So hopefully we will get a good display of out to Twin Shock Masters this weekend and no Dungerpilot. I have heard there maybe an early coming out that is for sale as well.

I feel that I must inform you Chippy that I had to put myself in hospital for a severe dose of antibiotics after working on that said imitation Spanish trials bike. I still feel diseased after that and I may never recover! Aaahhh that makes me feel much better.

Hi all.... There seems to be a pattern.. For the last few years a new returned from the tip bike is tested at the squatters event the week before the T.S.M There is another this year ,,,,,,,,,.....jb

Perhaps there is a Pattern!

There is no pulling the wool over your eyes Chippy, you seem to have a 6th sense when it comes to which bike I am going to Ride! It is Drab Olive Green and here is a sneak peak.....

I'm sure it was as good as ever at Conondale.
Would love to hear more about the riding.

I've thought about your statistics and am going to have a guess about which s were ridden and which one DNFed.
25% of the s not ridden - that would be Greg Bostock's 349 and he would have ridden his modern bike
50% of the s finishing - that would be your 172 and the other 349

I'm basing my GUESSES on some grasped threads of possibly useless info:
Chippy phoned here on Friday or Saturday and from the sounds of what he asked me about, he had barely ridden his Cota 200 before he got to Conondale (which I'll admit is a tradition - I remember the OSSA?)
I know you usually ride a SQTA trial on the bike you are going to ride at Conondale, which means you probably sorted the bugs out of the 172 Kermit before Conondale, and I saw a photo of you on it that looked like a SQTA trial
The other Cota 349 looks to be a well-sorted bike and a credit to the owner so was probably reliable

Hi, here's a complete basket case of Cub parts fully assembled into a rideable condition.
We really need to get more 4 stroke bikes out there, did anyone get a photo of the Classic bike line up or are we going to see more pics of M's and B's, I can't even bring myself to say the names. Incidentally Greg, 4 Cubs entered, 4 Cubs finished, = 100%,,,,,,,, try taking the p**s out of those stats.
