Well, for the last couple of weeks using the Web, i cannot for the love of me( and a few ales every night) find gasket sets or anything that would help cross reference parts commonality to what i have inherited.I know basic stuff like wheel bearing, brake shoes, axles and bearing and also new piston ring are available but what do you do when you want to fit new rings, means, you need gaskets . I rebuilt my 1999 xr 600 with readily available after market parts/ gaskets etc and i thought that i could do the same with the tlr250r-g that was kindly given to me.If ol mate slips home and want to have a spin on it, and its not going i would not feel like i have done right by him.As previous stated I am pretty anal about maintenance on all my mechanical, including 50 hr service on my 1950s massey ferguson tractor, 3 cars, 2 quads etc etc.Prevention and oil is cheaper than new motors.so I am throwing it out there for some advice to help maintain a 31 yr old classic(maybe) toy. Thanks for reading my long winded text.
Nil balance (Scott is real name but dont hold that against me.)
Thanks for any info even the smallest might help.
