MA bans Titanium

MA has just sent out a bulletin banning Titanium and 'light alloy' in frames. forks handlebars, swingarm/wheel spindles unless OEM????

My 2 cents
There are probably aftermarket titanium and light alloy swingarm axles and wheel axles in use currently (in Classic Trials) so there may be some resistance to compliance.
The rule doesn't mention steering axles.

How would a machine examiner, or anyone for that matter, know what's an aftermarket or OEM wheel spindle? And what's 'light alloy' do we need to be metallurgists now? It does give the Insurance companies another way to avoid payments though.

Hi guys, the only parts on light alloys refers to spindles on swingarms. Not the swingarm it self, or have I misread the rule change? I would hate to think that you guys are misrepresenting the new rule changes lol baxy

I've edited my post to make it very clear that I am talking about axles, not frames or swingarms
