Will a XR 200 clutch cover fit a tlr250 ?

My clutch cover is not in the best of shape & i don't think it could be welded ? It looks like xr200 clutch covers are easy to get, so if somebody has done this or else knows what the disadvantages etc there may be, i would like to hear your experiences.

Depending on the damage, engine cases and covers can be TIG welded. But if the more readily available trailbike parts fit, that is another option
