New to trials: Rev 3 200

Post by Bernie Bog »

Hey guys,

I have recently purchased a Beta rev 3 200 from 2005 which has come without an owners manual. (i am new to trials also)

Ive had enduro dirt bikes so im reasonably handy but im wondering if anyone could shed some light on a few things?

What gearbox oil should i run?
What 2 stroke oil is everyone reccomending? also the mix ratio
Where can i get parts from?
Is there a trials mechanic near Geelong?

Cheers, Rhys

Get yourself and owners manual here
It's 06 but it's close enough to your 05
https://betausa.com/trials-support/

That will answer your questions.

Parts fishe and diagrams are at

https://trialsport.com.au/beta-documents-htm/

The 200 is a good little jigger. Ideal to start on. And the best bit is Beta still support it with parts unlike most of the other manufacturers.
Just my 2 cents worth.....or was that 1 cent???!!!

And pfft. Don't need a mechanic. Do it yourself.
None of it is rocket science and if you do get hung up ask here or on trials central.

And parts are easily ordered online at Beta Australia
They don't have a Beta Rev 3 200 2005 on the list anymore but they do have the 06.

All you gotta know is the 06 did different graphics and has grimeca brakes whereas the ,05 has Ajp like all the other brands were running.
If you got any questions pm me
