Motion 1: Accepted the minutes of the last general meeting.
Motion 2: Vote in new officers
We have three nomination - MORE ARE WELCOME contact William Guthrie (Bill).
President - Paul Arnott
Secretary - Simon Ford
Treasurer - William (Bill) Guthrie.
Motion 3: “ All valid members” of the Trial Riders Association (TRA) at 31st December 2022 have their membership extended for a period of twelve (12) months at no cost.
The reason for “Valid Membership” is based on the Constitution extract below.
1.At Clause 2 (2)(b) the person is a current financial member of a MNSW affiliated Trials organising club.
2. At Clause 3 (1)(a) A nomination of a person for membership of the association: (a) must be made by the secretary or their delegate of the nominees Home Club.
As of the 31st December 2022 the only clubs that are affiliated with MNSW were Pacific Park Trials Club, Denman Trials Club, Wollongong Motor Cycle Club, and Bankstown Wiley Park Motor Cycle Club (BWP organised a ride day in December 2022 at Fairburn Park).
To avoid argument we have taken a NSW Court position and used the Oxford Dictionary of English for the definition of active.
We also sent this message via MNSW Rider
Thanks
Paul Arnot - A/President
William (Bill) Guthrie - A/Treasurer
