Hiya all.. i got the whisper that my bike had appeared in this thread!!
The pegs are High Tensile Bronze ones made by a guy called Steve Butler here in the uk. He is a 2 man band making up the odd trial related stuff from his own foundry..
The pegs have been on my bike for 3 weeks now and i have ridden about 6 times over that 3 weeks.. Although we don't have big rocks in this part of the UK i did test them by throwing the bike down a quarry face last week and they haven't dented or cracked. The pegs are also kinder to the soles of the boot than the Hebo ones... those tend to dig large chunks out of the boot. I also have ridden in a slimey mud area of sections and there is no grip problem, my feet staying put at all times... apart from the dabs! They are slightly heavier than the standard hebos on my gasgas but as it is the lightest bike around and i remove my stand it doesn't make any difference!!
If you click on my sales button from my web site you will see that he also does larger rear wheel adjusters that also do exactly as they say on the tin.. adjust!! But they give you a far larger range of adjustment which if nothing else allows you a greater length of time before you have to fork out cash for a new chain.. I believe he is going to be doing them in anodised colours soon and also a disc guard is on the way but haven't seen or heard what they are like yet.
I also spotted your posts about clutch oil etc... on all bikes that i have had, apart from an rtl Honda in the 80's, I have used ATF Dexron3 oil in the gearbox. Not only is it light but as it was designed for Automatic car and truck garboxes it can handle the abuse we give our trials bikes... it also has an additive that is designed to hold onto any particles rather than let them build up as a sludge. When it is used heavily and over the course of time it changes from red to a grey colour showing that it is retaining the crud. Best of all is that it is very cheap from Auto trade supplies so you don't mind changing it every so often.
The bulge bars on my bike are the 2003/4 hebo model... GasGasuk wanted to off load the last few sets cheap so i had 3!! they cam with the clamps. Renthal do a nice bar pad for them that gives loads of advert space
The sun has finaly come out here.... and i have just brought a KTM 640 supermoto to play on, so i am off to play...
