Melbourne SE suburbs: ARB contacts anyone?

Post by keithj »

I want to get a steel bull bar fitted to my Jackaroo. About $1400 is the best I can come up with.

Is there anyone in Melbourne who can either a) give me a contact for a better price than that, or b) know a trials-related person who can do the work? I'm more happy to line the pockets of a trials person if it comes down to it.

(And a long range fuel tank is on the short list too.)

I'm in the Wantirna area.

PM me!
Keith.

Bull bar

You could try http://www.findapart.com.au
Just type in the requirement & wait for the replies.
This site is a link to all bike, car, commercials wreckers but they also supply new parts.

Thanks Tony, I've submitted the form, we'll see what comes back.

Although I'm tipping not too many bullbars would be salvagable from wreckers....

i'm a fourby nut and do a bit of custom fabrication on the side.

i would first post a wanted advert on http://www.outerlimits4x4.com to see if anything is available 2nd hand.

there are a few fabricators on the site also. cheezy racing in bayswater is one off the top of my head.

if you're after something of the high clearance tube bar variety, i can have a look when i get back from overseas in mid march. but i have quite a few jobs scheduled in already.

but if you want a generic arb-style steel bar, remember that arb aren't the only ones making bars. tjm may have something for you as well.

Thanks for all the responses!
GaryMc told me about the 4x4 swap meet at Yarra Glen on Sunday 4th March. I'll be going along to that!
