Rule Change?????

Post by BJ »

It has come to my attention some riders are thinking whilst riding sections. It appears to be worse the higher the grade and needs to be stamped out.

I think the rules should be changed to protect those that are too scared to think and to penalise those that abuse their metal power to the dissadvantage of us mere mortals. I would note however it appears while the brain is engaged the feet stay on the pegs

Please see photo below as evidence

Well what would u do if you had a spider or something crawling over your face, you would fall off your bike screaming and cop a five but if your someone like Trevor Campble who spends hours practicing can balance (both feet on the pegs motor still running) and take a hand off the bar and remove the pest.

Whats the problem is it because you cant be stuffed practicing to balance so you take it out on the riders who can. If you watch jordi Tarres back in the day he always took his hand off the bar to adjust his helmet.

And to the bloke who msg "you wouldnt want to live there" wat r u refering to. You didnt have to say that because people live there. Ill fight ya anyday

Dear Mr Alex

Don't feel bad, it is so easy to hide (oops meant hit) send when we mean save.

But you are quite right........ This is a five! But are the rules correct in saying hands should be on the bars in a section?????????

It was the hidden point in this post. If you are good enough to ride a section with your hands (in the air, for want of a better term) off the bars should you suffer a penatly???

Personally, a photo like this is just a promotoin of the sport and I doubt if any of the experts competeing on the day would demand a count back!

Has anyone really been fived for...................

Given the chance I'd do the same.... But nobody gave me a ladder!

Damn Experts!

Looking forward to GM this Easter....Mc Alex I will have the Scorpa 2T and 4T there, I'm happy for you demo both. ;-)

Yeah mate i coped a five at glenmaggie doing it, but it is only a five if you place a foot on the ground. Yeah looking forward to glenmaggie and thanks heaps for the offer to ride one of your factory scorpas. Ill take you around the paddock and give you a few riding tips for free. I like the way your team at the super trial presented themselves you were the standout team, you looked so proffesional. U r a good bloke for the sport and u need to be congratualated for ur proffesionalism it is what the sport needs. Well done and keep up the great work.

BJ, It's only a five if he puts his foot down.

refer to the 2007 MOM

Rider does not have both hands on the handlebar when he foots Whilst Stationary
