Slow action has a smaller radius than the standard , and requires 1/3 of a turn, compared to 1/4 turn for standard ,Approximately !!!
Feel free to tell me how many degrees, minutes and seconds difference between the two, I`m sure someone will.
Adjustable, is on the Sherco Enduro , you can flip over a removable disc that gives you two throttle actions to choose from.
Both throttles just vary the diameter the cable is pulled over, and I believe what you call, a lag throttle, is one with a varied radius, or cam type action, that will start off gentle on a small radius .Then quickly open in the last part of rotation ,at a much quicker rate on a larger diameter.
Been following your thread on Trials Central, recommend you try the throttle first. Makes a big difference
...and when/why would you choose one over the other?
Thanks.
Easy....
A slow action throttle is caused by poor maintainence ,usually just needs pulling off and lubricating.
A delayed throttle is usually caused by inefficient Australia post staff or the dealer to slack to get your order in the mail quickly.
An adjustable throttle is quite rare in trials , have seen a few on ebay , but very hard to secure.
Howie is right about them being on Shercos 4ts , makes little difference on them as they are still a pain to start.
Till you gain more experience, I suggest fitting a triple ended set of Hebo indesision bars and try all three together ...these bars are hard to get also !!!!
