Hi all, maybe some one could help me and my '95 Fantic Section 250 cc.
What's up: when the bike and the carburetor are foreward inclined (rear wheel upper front rear) the carburation at the idle became lean, when the bike isn't inclined the idle is ok with right carburation. The carburator is the Dell'orto 26 PHBH CD.
Have a idea?
Thanks of all.
That’s still the same carb they use on many modern trials bikes.
Start buy giving the carb a good clean out with compressed air....and see how that goes.
But I'd guess you have trouble with the floats (starting to sink) or the float needle is worn.
I used to own a 95 Section. Last I heard it made it's way to back to VIC....where abouts are you?
Best of balance.

Thank you Neo,
the carb is very clean, the air filter too, the plug is new, and the mix is 100:1 with synthetic oil, when I taked apart the carb to clean up I check the float and apparently it was ok (no liquid inside). On your bike which float weight there is?
I'am from Italy the Country of the Fantic and Beta, The new Fantic brand isn't the same of the '70 original Fantic, a guy buy the name, but he produce and sell only enduro Bike 50 and 125 cc, no trial.
I've never seen a float weight on any carb I've worked on. If you can remove it, do that, then try staring on a foreword incline.
Ahhhh....Italy ....Once the home of my parent.
Do you have any information about the new Fantic Trials Bikes? I am very keen to know what they producing now?
Best of balance.

Hi fulmine,
I thought you were saying that there was a weight on the float. But maybe I have read this wrong?
You are right....do not run the carb without the float. Because petrol will be coming out everywhere
