Bultaco kickstart return spring

Post by Ginge »

Does anyone have any tips on fitting a new kickstart return spring to a Sherpa T?

Do I really have to split the cases...

On a Bultaco, you only have to remove the magneto flywheel cover to change the kickstart spring.
If you had to replace the kickstart travel stop or the kickstart shaft you would have to split the cases.
Changing the spring is a pretty fiddly job. A good pair of needle nose pliers usually helps.
