Hi All,
I'm just sussing out helmets for trials.
I need one for me, and one for Jaxon.
I'm thinking about lashing out on an NZI Trident (anyone had much experience with them?), as I'm prone to heat. Being a kiwi it gets to over 30 and i'm seeking shade/ water or both.
Seems like Hebo and NZI are the major trials specific players, with Shoei and Bell also having a few examples.
Which helmet do you prefer and why?
Cheers
Kem

Re: Helmet suggestions?
Kembro,
For helmet joice, recently purchased one through Trial Zone. It was an NZI Stratos C, ( i was origionally trying to get the Trivient ). It,s a carbon finish helmet and fits really nice. Comfy from thee get go. I have just returned to Darwin after a couple of years in Wagga and the heat, although hot, was not too bad under the new lid. Add to that that I'm a Pomme in the tropics and thats not bad. However, it's down to pers' preference. I got some good advice from TrialZone, even on the size and if there were any issues they were ready to receive it back ( i would have paid the postage though ). If you have yet to get one, give them a call or any one of the stores assoiated with this forum, there is a wealth of experience here.

Thanks Davo,
Ended up getting a Shiro from Kal. I haven't given it a good test yet, as i'm replacing the brake pedal.
Cheers

Re: Helmet suggestions?
Hi Guys,
I have been wearing a Trivent for two seasons now. I placed some adheasive backed rubber in the front after massaging the foam into scape because it way too tough on my forehead. It then was a much nicer thing to wear. The catch does rust very quickly if you sweat and needs constant attention to make it fasten properly. The Shiro helmets look great and have a stainless catch so no worries with rust. If you want I can supply any of the above and also the new Tony Bou replicas. I am mainly stocking bike accesories at the moment but I am KD Mototrials Vic agent so if you anything give me a yell if it is in stock you'll get it in a few days. I'll have the new webpage up very shortly and will be online with the goodies soon.

Re: Helmet suggestions?
You can't beat the Arai... best helmet i have ever had. No having to push the padding to get it to fit my weird shaped head!!
Not sure if you ever got them over there but a friend sent me a kenichi replica back from Hongkong a year or two ago and it is still going strong.
