Anybody can join a club.
To get any type of MA licence, first time you must prove you can control a motorcyce sufficently.
If you have a "Road" motorcycle licence MA will take that proof, so you dont have to do a 'Proficency' test.
Higher level MA officials and Coaches can do these Proficency tests. I have done several for new riders over the years.
This form needs to be submitted with your first application, after that its just a licence renewal process.
It's up to each individual to make their own choice of licence type.

Penno1, I see the problem here is you state you have friends. Get rid of them as they are a bad influence.

And what's with the $7.26 of fees.
Is that just bad financial management?
Very very few retailers have credit card/eftpos fees, its bad business.

Its all a bit like supporting the Commonwealth , Westpac banks or Telstra[feeding the devil]. Don't know why people just don't go out and do their own comps, just need few homemade trophies and a place to ride, hint hint .
