Finally I got to do some painting for a friendsTL125S using paint that tat ty sent me from a long way away, made using colour scans from his original :honda: TL250 tank. It's been too hot for spray painting the old-fashioned way that I do it until recently and today was my RDO.
Since last posting, the owner had sourced a pair of replica side covers. Today, the "Honda tank silver" was sprayed on tank and sidecovers.
No photos yet but there will be some.
Thanks for the paint, Alastair

OK it's finally time for an "after" photo of a friend's once-crushed :honda: TL125 tank that has enjoyed a multi-year restoration which was featured from time to time on these forums.
This photo was taken just after the third coat of clear.
The recent painting was done with great help from tat ty who sponsored the brilliant replica coloured paints and dimensions for the black stripe.
Yes I know my workshop can be messy at times

I had actually forgotten what acrylic lacquer looks like before it is buffed. Looks great David. I`m spraying an M85 Alpina tank in 2 pack right now.
