Scottish Six Day Trial, not sure what day or section. 1 lap of 30 sections per day shortest loop was 74 miles, longest day was 116 mile loop (thats the day i missed a turn off & added 10 miles).
First rode it in 1994 & said never again....but it seems to draw you back.

Here is an oldie. 1986, a few TCC riders were doing a demo at a local MX meet. This is me riding over a tractor tyre on my trusty Montesa Cote 200. Photo captured by Lyn Murray.

Bev that photo of you and the tractor tyre gets my vote as the hottest one yet.
Lots of air under that twinshock Monty. I'm impressed.

Here's a good one for a laugh. Yours truly crashing a friend's Suzuki RL250 in 1976. I think it was the last time I ever tried to ride an RL250.

Did it end in a "flying W" David? Looks like it had that potential when the front wheel came down.

I don't remember exactly but I know I didn't make it back onto the pegs - probably kept hanging on to the bars and running till the bike and I fell over.

Your flying W idea reminded me of a five I got at the Qld Titles a week or so ago. I was going up the hill-climb (section 9) in second gear with plenty of power on when the bike jumped into neutral. Because I was pulling back on the bars a fair bit when it happened, my body then moved forwards so far over the bars that I wasn't able to get my foot anywhere near the brake pedal. I did manage to go about 5 metres backwards totally out of control (but still hanging on to the bars) before crashing to the ground. Sorry but not a single camera to be seen at the time. The observer (Paul Walsh) enjoyed the spectacle.

Hi All
This is one of my favourite shots that my wife has taken.
It is Trevor Campbell at Glenmaggie easter 2004.

That last pics a good shot. There's some good ones coming out, old and new!

Thought I'd add another one of my ride on Sunday. First ride back into it in a number of years, so as you can imagine i was having loads of fun!

Phil, that is a great shot of Trevor.

Here is one of Colin Z at my practice area a couple of weeks ago. If you look at the tyres they are wet with a heavy morning dew, still makes it look all sooooo easy!
