Does that mean you aren't going to ride it? Fibreglass rears have a very short half-life in competition.

Its a favourite subject of mine. There are a few models. They are the brainchild of Mick Andrews and John Shirt, who were both disillusioned with Yamaha's efforts at making twinshock trials bikes. They made bikes based on Yamaha motors and running gear that were more competitive against other bikes of the time. Production timespan was approx 1978 to 1982.
There is a:
TY175 yamaha frame based model (frame modified)
TY250 yamaha frame based model (frame modified)
Godden (the framemaker) series 1 250/320
Godden series 2 250/320
Godden 175/200
Mini-majesty (smallish bike for the 125/175/200 motor)
A couple of years ago, people started making and selling replicas of Majesty frames
Here are some Aussie threads about Majestys to start you off

I recently purchased a Gonelli rear guard for my TY175 and for the price it fits well. I purchased it from Don Newel in Queensland and had it posted to Sydney all for just under 50. All in less than a week too. As long as your not after the original look i recommend it.
Mark.

Cedric told me tonight that he has just recieved two front TY replica guards he ordered from Flat Rabbit and they look good, but he hasn't fitted them to a bike yet.

David Lahey wrote:Here's another option for the front. This Majesty has a modern trials bike front guard fitted to the Yamaha fork brace (and looks pretty good). The owner (Beech) might reply with what modern bike the guard is from.
The guard is off a late model Sherco, I made the brace out of 4ml Aluminium as I didn't have the original TY brace, looks good and doesn't clog with mud, a few others have now got these front gaurds on their twin shocks.
