I performed a "turning circle test" today.

No idea if there's a standard.
What I did was a full-lock turn on flat ground, with and without the stopper, and measured the difference between the two maximum points reached by the front wheel.
(Check picture for a thousand words description :D )

Difference is 17cm.

I'd like to remove it permanently, but I'm not totally happy about it. Sharp edges from triple clamp hitting frame = :( !!
I'd like something to protect the frame but not as thick as the standard stopper. Will keep looking.

Hi Keith.

I'd guess that something made of nylon would do the trick. But I don't know what the point of impact on these new GasGas's looks like. So I don't know what shape the nylon should be or how it could be fixed on.

I don't mean to be funny but have you asked the guys on the TC forum?...They would have had their bikes and bit longer than us Aussies so maybe they already have a tried and tested fix.
