Neo, I'd take you up on that offer, but I have insider information you don't know yet: I am really indifferent to Spanish bikes!
I still haven't seen one yet that holds any interest for me! Maybe you could count the new Scorpa, as its engine is from a Spanish bike.
And for the extra money I am to pay for this I could buy another 3 Fantics! Or a Majesty, a Beamish, and a SWM.

Scorps, I had a ride on Reinald's "new" SWM 280 a couple of weeks ago and as I was greatly enjoying riding it the thought came to me that "Scorps really should have another go at owning one of these things".
What was it someone famous one said about SWMs? Ah yes - "the best of the Italian Bultacos".

I will surely admire the new OSSA for it's technological modernity but I'm pretty certain that no matter what new bike appears on the market, I will continue to get incomparable enjoyment from looking at and riding my 1975 OSSA
The thing I'm totally bewildered about with the new OSSA brand is that there seems to be talk of them also making a new replica of the Mk1 OSSA MAR. Apart from the naming of it (Mick Andrews Replica Replica), where would it fit in the market? My first thought was that there might be some people who want to ride twinshock class but want a completely new bike rather than a restored old bike - but wouldn't they be much better off on a replica of a later model twinshock bike - say a Fantic or an SWM? Or maybe its meant for oldies like me who reckon the 1970s bikes look better than the 1980s bikes? Then again maybe it's all just marketing hype and it won't come to fruition.
