Rock log combo (reversed) definitely the most difficult section

Cleans on this one are rare

Going down the ramp is not a total piece of cake

This is everything, unless I take pics of; Log Gap, The Ramp or tall balance beam in reverse, and I am not super keen.

Mark that looks suspiciously like a horse obstacle

I found these photos that my wife took last year at one of the practice areas at home. This practice area was created a few years ago when a very strong gust of wind blew a branch out of an iron bark tree and it fell just right on a compound slope next to my shed. These photos don't really show the potential of that little area.

To avoid another “horse obstacle” debacle it would be prudent to set some eligibility rules for what constitutes a backyard practice section, on a twinshock trials forum;
1.1 All sections must be visually indistinguishable from sections currently being used at state or national competition level, either natural terrain or arena style.
1.2 A twinshock or classic motorcycle must be pictured on the said obstacle.
1.3 A motorcycle will be deemed twinshock; provided it has two shock absorbers at the rear, is air cooled and has drum style brakes.
1.4 A motorcycle will be deemed classic; provided (not going there)
1.5 A “backyard” will be regarded as; a property not greater than 20 acres with an occupied residence.
1.6 Any section must be within 500meters (as the crow flies) from the residence.
1.7 Photo’s must be taken by a member of the said residence. Additional credibility will be given if the photographer is under 12 years of age, or pregnant.

Not to down play the importance of true eligibility rules, just having a bit of fun

re Rule 1.7 - Oh well so much for using Wendy as the photographer (being over 12 and not pregnant). I will have to make do with using my kids (9 and 11) as photographers when I can get back on a bike again
Steve I'm glad you have gotten in so many photos already because in a few weeks time you will probably have lost the chance for additional credibility for some time

At least your pics were taken by a member of the said residence, this makes you eligible.

Snookered by my own rules so quickly, four weeks and my opportunity for additional credibility is toast. Though I will still be eligible, that's a relief.

Hmmm see If I have this right this time?
In terms of Steve's rules I'm definitely compliant with 1.1, 1.4, 1.5 and 1.7.

I maybe struggling a little bit with 1.2, 1.3 tho' ....It would appear that I have two suspension devices at the rear and its definitely air cooled....

I'm sure my learned colleagues can critic my post and i may edit based on this sage advice.

Note: I do not condone barefoot trials.

I think bit & bridle will strugle to pass as drum style brakes (1.3), Good try though
