I have a spare pair of RL250 fork springs that I would sell reasonable plus shipping from South Dakota. Send me a personal message or post here if interested. I used to ride UMTA.
I agree that stock springs are much too soft. I add 12 PSI of air via a regulator to good effect along with 250cc oil. I off centered the air valves in the fork caps to allow air chuck/handle bar clearance.
The spring measures 18-1/2 inches plus 3-1/8 inch spacer plus a flat washer long by 26.5 MM outside diameter with 3.5 MM wire diameter. The coils are wound much closer together on one end.
I found a Clymers Suzuki manual that covers RL250 and others. Think I got it through "denniskirk.com" in Rush City, Minnesota.
