Clear coat on alloy never seems to work that great, and unless your bike is a 100% original resto job, it might be better to get the sliders polished?

This 'glisten' product works very well and has lasted 3 season of Vintage MX on some of my bikes and does not look like yellowing or coming off. It is not the easiest to apply and is time consuming.
