Hi I have the new betors and there is some weeping from the get go. Ill talk to SMP to see whats up but I might try Feet up funs pressure check and see if that does the job.
@FM350 do you ride a Virago by any chance?

If you have new Betors and the seals are black rather than blue, then you may well have a pair from the batch that was fitted with defective seals. Maybe not a good idea to mess with them, as this would almost certainly mean any warranty claim would be impossible.

I would be very surprised if SMP dont already know about the faulty shocks, as I heard about these through someone in Spain about 2 months ago.

I can see where more air pressure might force the sealing lip tighter again the damper rod due to the shape of the lip. Won't cost me anything to try it. If it works, I'll report back here. Trying the pressure on the Falcons not the Betors since they are being replaced.
Thank you folks for the information and the replys. Trials has a great community. That apparently holds true worldwide.
Thirteen sections and loop trail later with topped up oil and 80 PSI, still leaking enough to oil up rhe stop blocks and lower spring support on the Falcons.

Why have a careful look at the damper rods on the Falcons, and if they are ok then strip and rebuild with new seals?

The Falcons are toast. Minor damage to rods.

You can buy replacement rods if required, and parts to rebuild may well be a lot less money than either new Falcons or even cheap throwaways.

Final resolution: New Betors arrived today, Tryals Shoppe paid shipping to me, I pay shipping of old shocks back to Trials Shoppe. A fair deal all around I'd say.
New shocks have dark purple seals and 12mm damper rods, old leakers have black seals and 10.5mm rods, close as I can measure.
