FM, would the owners of those Yamahas[yellow and silver,pictured somewhere here that I cannot find] be willing to send pictures and details to one of the bike factorys in china???

Good idea, but not sure that info relating to a 1980s twin-shock bike, would help the Chinese much with building a P65?

Wouldn't mind building one myself for when Geoff Lewis comes back to town.

It looks like there is atleast 50 motorcycle factories in china, im sure few could build a copy of a TY or TLR, and sell quite a few thousand units around the globe, probably more then Gas/beta combined, and i dont think Chinese give hoot about copy rights so they can copy anything. No I didnt mean P65s.

Why not P65? I believe pre-65 replica frames (Rickman MX frames) are already being made in a Chinese factory run by an enterprising Aussie.
Note for FM350 - they are REPLICA Rickman frames, not modern designs - so would be OK to use in Aussie competition

really, i wouldnt think the P65s would sell as well as the 80s TS bikes.

If that is the case, maybe there's an opportunity for you to jump in and get some 1980s twinshock replica bikes made, before everyone else gets in on the act

I dont have any pics of the bikes, but Steve and Roger compete in events run by JonV8, and he may well have some.

I dont think the Chinese are going to be that interested in selling a few thousand units, but I would agree 100% that a modern day TS which was realistically priced, and aimed at club man level riders would certainly outsell all the moderns.
