Hi Everyone,

Perhaps someone can help, below is a couple of photos of my later model RL (12/76) with different paint scheme to my loan bike that I think is a (M) 1975 model as it has steel tank and hand shape muffler unlike the (L) 1974 model Exacta .My parts book only list L and M, I have heard the 1976 model being referred to as RL250 2 in roman numerals and other 1976 :suzuki s are referred to as (A) Models?

Here is a photo of aluminium compliance plate 12/76 that L and M models don't have, they had a sticker which usually can't be read Anymore!

Hi everyone,

How many other :suzuki RL's have we got out there that may be able to get to the Twin Shock Masters this year? Greg, I think you may have 3 runners and how many other potential runners?
Chippy[/quote:spam]

Andrew, if you make it Suzukis, not just RLs, you might get some more.
I know of a couple of 4speeds that might make it![/quote:spam]

John and Chippy, just my opinion but we should not limit it to :suzuki RL'S as it would rule out some other :suzuki s that already compete like Tim Dandenberg's TS/TF 185 that frequents Conondale! Might I suggest we include :suzuki powered bikes as Well? Will probably have to draw the line eliminating :suzuki 4wds, Cars, Quad bikes, Outboards and Mowers?

Hi TerrY,
I had an RL sitting next to your James, for many years in My shed.
Wonder where the RL went.
Unlike the James :D
I bet the RL is still in the tweed somewhere. Have to make some inquiries.

Have any of the rl250 horde got a chain tensioner like this one, doesn't appear in any of the fiche i can find, nor any pics online. The thing i can't get my head around is that the opposing brackets on either side of the nylon slider are countersunk the wrong way?

Here is the best photo I have of John Heidemann's steel tank, steel sprocket, 520 chain, steering damper equipped, hand muffler, ADR plated RL250. Photo taken in 1976 at Lacey's Creek grid property near Dayboro. Sorry about crashing your bike John

Hi everyone,

I would have to agree that all :suzuki should be included. I think that there maybe a few Suzuki 4wd's there as well....

I found a few photos from Conondale last year that I thought I would share.

Some great photos there too David.
